အဲဒီတုန္းက တုိင္းနဲ႔ျပည္နယ္ လူေရြးပြဲအတြက္လား…သိပ္မမွတ္မိေတာ႔ဘူး။ ေအာက္ကြင္းမွာ ျပိဳင္ပြဲေတြရွိတယ္။ Open Tournament ေတြလည္း ေအာက္ကြင္းမွာပဲ လုပ္ေလ႔ရွိတယ္။ ညေနပိုင္းဆိုရင္ ေဘာလံုးကြင္းထဲမွာ တုိက္ကြမ္ဒို၊ ဂ်ဴဒို၊ ကရာေတးဒို သင္တန္းေတြရွိတယ္။ တျခားအားကစားေတြက သူ႔ရံုနဲ႔သူ၊ ေဘာလံုးကြင္းထဲက မိုးလံုေလလံု ရံုထဲမွာက ဒီ ၃ မ်ိဳးပဲကစားၾကတယ္။ အဲဒီမွာစတာ.. Ah Wa ကေနာတို႔ ၂ ေယာက္ကို ဘာကစားခ်င္လဲတဲ႔။ ၂ ေယာက္သား တုိက္ကြမ္ဒိုကို ဘာေၾကာင္႔ေရြးျဖစ္သြားၾကလဲမသိဘူး။ ခါးပတ္ အျပာေရာက္ဖုိ႔ စာေမးပြဲေျဖခါနီးမွ နားလုိက္ရတယ္ဗ်ာ။ Ah Wa က ေက်ာင္းစာကိုပဲ ဦးစားေပးရမယ္တဲ႔။ အခုထိျမင္ေယာင္ေနေသးတယ္။ စ ကစားတုန္းကဆို အေၾကာေတြေတာင္႔ေနတာ.. ေနာတုိ႔အေၾကာေလွ်ာ႔ေလ႔က်င္႔ခန္းေတြက ေပါင္ကိုေျဖာင္႔ေနေအာင္ကားရတာ။ အဲဒီဆရာေပါ႔ ေနာဘာေၾကာင္႔ မွတ္မိေနလဲဆိုေတာ႔ သူကသန္႔တယ္ဗ်။ :P အစ္မေတြဆို ဆရာ႔နားမွာဝိုင္းေနတာ။ ဒါေပမဲ႔ ကစားတဲ႔ အခ်ိန္က်ရင္ သူက ေယာက်္ား၊ မိန္းမခြဲတာမဟုတ္ဘူး။ ေပါင္ေျဖာင္႔ေအာင္ မကားႏုိင္ရင္ ေပါင္ေပၚ သူ႔ကုိယ္နဲ႔ တက္ဖိတာဗ်။ ေျဖာင္႔ရံုနဲ႔ မျပီးေသးဘူး။ ေပါင္အေျဖာင္႔လုိက္ ရင္ဘတ္နဲ႔ ၾကမ္းျပင္ကိုထိေနရေသးတယ္။ မထိရင္ ေက်ာကုန္းေပၚတက္နင္းတာဗ်။ အစတုန္းကဆုိ မခံစားႏုိင္လြန္းလုိ႔ ေနာ အလွည္႔ေရာက္ခါနီးျပီဆုိရင္ စည္းျပင္ထြက္၊ ဂါရဝျပဳျပီး ခါးပတ္ျပင္သလုိလုိ လုပ္ေနတာေပါ႔၊ ေနာအလွည္႔ေက်ာ္သြားမွ ဂါရဝေပးျပီး စည္းထဲျပန္ဝင္လာလုိက္တယ္။ ဘယ္ရမလဲ.. ဟဲ..ဟဲ။ တျခားဆရာေတြနဲ႔ဆိုရင္ အဲေလာက္ေၾကာက္စရာမလုိဘူး။

Umm.. Happy Birthday to you!

Last night, my eldest bro called me. During these days, he was quite busy with his work and other thingys. So we had been out of contact for some time. By the time he called me, I was a bit fierce and just retorted with balky answers. But, he kept tolerate on me and didn’t scold me at all. I became a bit blur blur. And how come.. huhh?? I use to be afraid of him cos of his straight face mahh.. He questioned me what day tomorrow would be. I simply replied “Friday lorr”. He asked again.. I said, “Feb 13”. Then, he puzzled me whether I could tell what that day would be. I had no idea on the spot.
After that, he didn’t say anything else and just sent an email to me. When I read it.. ohh.. no! I should die! U know, tomorrow is our General Aung San’s birthday. No wonder.. that’s why purposely, he was asking me like that.
What can I do for our Nation’s Father?? Umm… let me see.. nothing special!! Anyway, I could think of one thing and so just tried to translate what my bro passed to me. Then, I gave a trial on making a short vid for the song that I received from one of my siss. Actually, we had learnt it when we were in primary 1 or 2.. I’m not sure, forgot already. :P It was one of the poems from our school text book. It’s also a kinda rhyme lahh..

YMCA, Singapore.

One of my colleagues emailed me to take part in the count down party for the Youth Olympic 2010. Being a volunteer of YMCA, ok lor… :D So, after the class, I just went down to YMCA, Singapore. There, we had a short briefing and then, marched from YMCA, Orchard all the way down to Cityhall. The event was between Parliament and St. Andrew’s Cathedral, opposite to Pennisula plaza where F1 race 2008 was befalled. :P Within our group, there were students from YMCA training classes, beneficiaries and we, volunteers. By the time we passed by SMU, we met with Dr. Vivian and Mr. Teo. At first, I totally didn’t know that they were VIPs. Oops! only when my colleague passed our group photo to me, I was surprised. They didn’t show off and they were just the same as us, not like those big gangs from my country. :PWhen we reached there, there were also many other organizations and associations gathering for that so called “special event”. To be frankly, till at that time, I had not realized their purpose of holding that event and how crucial that event was for them. Then, it turned to 6pm.. other VIPs arrived and PM Lee gave speech. Live broadcast was being shown on the big screen as the final decision would be made whether S’pore or Russia be the host for Youth Olympics 2010.. Once the committee announced that S’pore was chosen to be the host for it, all jumped with joy and the artists, artistes, vocalists started entertaining. How would you feel at that time?? Me.. my body was shivering cos of the music and at the same time, I got some strange feelings.
I’m not a Singaporean. But whatever I do or wherever I’m, I use to be the only Myanmar among them. And I feel that they never regard me as a peculiar one or from another country. Whenever I met someone, he/she guessed I’m a Singaporean. When I replied “no”, they still kept on guessing that whether I’m a Malay or Philippino. Some even guessed I might be a Thai. They never thought that I’m from Myanmar.. sooooo furny (s’pore accent)! :P So, by the time they were happy for their country, u think I could be as happy as them?? Of course not. I felt sorry for myself that I don’t have such kinda chance to be gala for my country. U know?? My eyes were filled with tears.. I was alone on my way back to home with empty mind…

မ်ားေသာအားျဖင္႔ စေနညေန ေနာ ဘုရားေက်ာင္းမွာ လုပ္စရာ သိပ္မရွိရင္ ရံုးေရာက္ျဖစ္တယ္။ မေရႊစင္နဲ႔အေဖာ္လုပ္၊ ဆုိင္သိမ္းျပီးသြားရင္ မုန္႔ေတြသြားစားၾကတယ္။ အစ္မ ဘဲဘဲ လည္းပါတယ္ဗ်။ Sunday ေတြဆိုရင္ေတာ႔ ေန႔လည္ ဘုရားေက်ာင္းျပီးရင္ ရံုးဝင္ျဖစ္တယ္။ တျခား ၾကားျဖတ္အစီအစဥ္ေတြ မရွိရင္ေပါ႔ဗ်ာ။ အိမ္က Clementi မွာ၊ မနက္ဘုရားေက်ာင္းက Lavender မွာ၊ ကခ်င္ဘုရားေက်ာင္းက Kembangan မွာ.. s’pore အေရွ႕နဲ႔အေနာက္ပဲ။ Cityhall က အလယ္မွာဆိုေတာ႔ အိမ္တေခါက္ျပန္မေနေတာ႔ဘဲ ဘုရားေက်ာင္းျပီးရင္ ရံုးမွာ ခဏဝင္ေန၊ ညေနက်ေတာ႔ ကခ်င္ဘုရားေက်ာင္းဆက္သြားေပါ႔ဗ်ာ။ ရံုးမွာ ေနေနတဲ႔အခ်ိန္ေတြ ဆိုရင္ စိတ္ခ်မ္းသာတယ္ဗ်။ မိသားစုလုိ လုိအပ္တာရွိရင္ဝိုင္းကူလုပ္ေပးလုိက္ရတာ ေပ်ာ္တယ္ဗ်။ ေနာနဲ႕ပတ္သက္တဲ႔သူေတြ အကူအညီလုိရင္လည္း တစ္လွည္႔ေပါ႔ဗ်ာ။ ေနာက ၾကားခံလူပါ။ ဘယ္ေလာက္ေကာင္းလဲ ? ေလာကမွာေငြက အေရးမၾကီးဘူးဗ်။ တစ္ေယာက္နဲ႔တစ္ေယာက္ ေမတၱာ သာ အျပန္အလွန္ ထားတတ္ၾကရင္….. ေနာခံယူထားတာက ကိုယ္အသက္ရွင္ေနတုန္းေလး တတ္ႏိုင္သမွ် ေစတနာသန္႔သန္႔ နဲ႔ လုပ္ေပးသြားခ်င္တယ္ဗ်ာ..

Good News Club

Aunty Mary asked me whether I was free on Saturday mornings. I simply replied that “Yes, I’m.” I was just schooling and worked part time only in the evenings. So.. ok lorr. As I’m the one who can’t stay without doing something mahh.. :D Aunty Mary is in charge of Children Ministry and currently running the GNC at the Bible Church. Actually, GNC is under CEF (Children Evangelical Fellowship). At first, I just helped out in preparing crafts and assisted Aunty Mary in whatever she needs. Later, she gave me some more responsibilities.

I gradually noticed about myself that I do really enjoy dealing with kids. All my boys and girls are so cute and innocent but they r smarter than u all, u know?? :P On the other hand, I feel sorry for my Myanmar kids. If I have a hit to built a community for my Myanmar kids and give the same atmosphere like here, how nice it’ll be. Here, kids can widen their knowledge since K1, K2.. cos they can utilize variety of supported materials. Then, in GNC, one thing which made me impressed was everything’s well-prepared and takes serious. Before we start each class, we always have devotion and a quick briefing. After the classes give over, we still have an overall revision on that day’s activities and thrash out in which ways we can make better and better.
A special event “Mission Sunday” is still sticking in my mind. Every year, the GNC use to celebrates mission Sunday and that year was for Myanmar and I was there. Amazing! Purposely, I could manage to serve some of our traditional foods and let all kids try. I found out that they were quite health-conscious and most of them dared not try new things.. not like Myanmar kids. :P That made me feel a bit awkward lahh.. cos for us, we can give a try on every kind of foods mahh.. can’t we??
After I had finished my studies and cos of my work, I temporary pause helping out there.. Sighhh.. I miss my kids!!!

Chinese New Year 2009! (CNY - 1)

တစ္ႏွစ္နဲ႔ တစ္ႏွစ္ မရိုးရေအာင္ပါဘဲ…

အရင္ႏွစ္ CNY တုန္းက ဦးေလး၊ အေဒၚအိမ္ေတြ ပတ္သြားျပီး singapore CNY အျပည္႔အဝ ခံစားလုိက္တယ္။ ဒီႏိုင္ငံက ႏွစ္သစ္ကူးမွာ လူၾကီးေတြကို ဂါရဝျပဳရင္ လိေမၼာ္သီးယူသြားေပးရတယ္ဗ်။ အဲဒီေတာ႔မွ အမ္ေပါင္း ရတာ.. ဟီး… ေက်ာင္းတက္ေနတုန္းဆိုေတာ႔ သြားခ်င္တဲ႔ေနရာသြား၊ လုပ္ခ်င္တာေတြကို လြတ္လြတ္လပ္လပ္ စိတ္ၾကိဳက္လုပ္ခြင္႔ရၿပီး ကိုယ္႔ အခ်ိန္ေတြကို ကိုယ္တုိင္ပိုင္ဆိုင္စီမံခြင္႔ ရခဲ႔တဲ႔အခ်ိန္ေလးေတြေပါ႔။ (ေျပာေနရင္း လမ္းေၾကာင္းကလြဲေတာ႔မယ္။ ဒီႏွစ္ CNY မွာ camp တက္ျဖစ္တဲ႔ အေၾကာင္းေရးမလုိ႔ဗ်)

CNY မတုိင္ခင္ကတည္းက ဘုရားေက်ာင္းမွာ camp ရွိတဲ႔ အေၾကာင္းေၾကျငာတယ္။ ဒီမွာက CNY အတြက္ public holiday က ၂ ရက္ပဲေပးတာဗ်။ ဒါေပမဲ႔ company အလုိက္ကြာတာေပါ႔ဗ်ာ။ ေနာတုိ႔ company ဆိုရင္ အဲဒီ ၂ ရက္အျပင္ ေနာက္ ၂ ရက္ဆက္ပိတ္ေပးတယ္ဗ်။ company မွာကတရုတ္လူမ်ဳိးေတြခ်ည္းေလ။ company ကခြင္႔ထပ္မေပးလဲ သူတို႔ရဲ႕ annual leave ထဲကေနဆက္ယူၾကေတာ႔ ရုံးမွာ လူမရွိေတာ႔ဘူး။ အဲေတာ႔ ေနာလည္း automatic ခြင္႔ယူျပီးသားျဖစ္သြားတာေပါ႔။ camp ကေတာ႔ ၁ ညအိပ္ရက္တိုသင္တန္းေလးပါ။ Kachin Family Camp တဲ႔။

ေနာရဲ႕ God father မိသားစုနဲ႔ တျခား ဦးေလး၊ အေဒၚ၊ pastor ေတြကလည္း အဲဒီရက္ထဲ သူတို႔ဆီ လာလည္ၾကဖို႔ ေခၚေနၾကေတာ႔ ေနာ camp ဝင္ဖို႔က မေသခ်ာေသးဘူးဗ်။ ေနာ ကခ်င္ အစ္ကိုအစ္မေတြကေတာ႔ ေနာ camp ဝင္ကိုဝင္ရမယ္တဲ႔ (ေၾကာက္ရတယ္ဗ်)။ သိတဲ႔အတုိင္းပဲဗ်ာ.. ေနာက တေန႕တာအတြက္ေတာင္ ေနာက္နာရီ အနည္းငယ္အတြင္း ဘာျဖစ္မလဲဆိုတာ ရွိတာမဟုတ္ဘူး။ fire tower lookin’ dance သိပ္လုပ္တတ္တာဗ်။ ဟီး… ဆိုေတာ႔ကာ.. just relax & see how first lorr ေပါ႔

အိမ္ကေန Clementi mrt သြားရင္ 196 ေစာင္႔ရတာၾကာလုိ႔ 197 နဲ႔ပဲ Jurong East interchange ထိစီးသြားလိုက္တယ္။ အဲဒီကေနမွ mrt နဲ႔ woodlands ဘက္ကေန အနီလိုင္းစီးျပီး sembawang ဆီသို႔ေပါ႔ဗ်ာ။ sembawang mrt ေရာက္ေတာ႔ ၁ နာရီထိုးခါနီးေနျပီဗ်။ ေနာက္ဆံုးအဆင္႔ bus နဲ႔ beach ကိုဒီုးဖုိ႔ပဲ က်န္ေတာ႔တယ္။ mrt မွာဘုရားေက်ာင္းကလူငယ္တစ္ေယာက္နဲ႔ေတြ႕လုိ႔ အတူတူသြားၾကမလုိ႔လုပ္ေနတုန္း အစ္ကိုေတာ္ဆီက ဖုန္းလာတယ္။ သူေနာက္ ၆ မိနစ္ဆိုရင္ sembawang mrt ေရာက္မယ္၊ေစာင္႔ေနတဲ႔။ ေစာင္႔ေပါ႔ဗ်ာ.. သူလည္းေရာက္ေရာ “ငါဘာမွမစားရေသးဘူး၊ တခုခုစားမယ္” တဲ႔။ အဲဒါနဲ႔ ေနာတို႔ေမာင္ႏွမ ၂ ေယာက္ KFC ဝင္ဆြဲလုိက္တယ္။ ေနာၾကိဳက္တဲ႔ Iced Milo နဲ႔ေပါ႔။ (Cheese Fries က Long John Silver’s ေလာက္ မေကာင္းဘူးဗ်.. ဟီး)

Camp site ေရာက္ေတာ႔ almost 2 o’clock! 1^st Lecture နည္းနည္းမီလုိက္ေသးတယ္။ ၄ နာရီေလာက္က်ေတာ႔ group activities စတယ္။ lecture ခန္းေနာက္ဖက္ ျမက္ခင္းျပင္အတန္ငယ္ရွိေသာေနရာမွာေပါ႔ဗ်ာ။ ပထမ ၂ ပြဲဆက္တိုက္ ေနာတို႔ group 1 က တတိယရတယ္ဗ် သိလား၊ ၃ဖြဲ႕ရွိတဲ႔အထဲမွာေလ။ lol ေနာေရလည္ဓါတ္က်သြားတာဗ်။ ေနာဘယ္ camp သြားသြား၊ ဘယ္ group မွာပဲျဖစ္ျဖစ္ ပထမခ်ည္းရခဲ႔တာ။ အခုေတာ႔ သြားပါျပီ ဆိုျပီးေတာ႔ေလ။ ဒါေပမဲ႔ အခု games အျပင္၊ ညပိုင္း activities ေတြမွာလည္း အမွတ္ေပးအုံးမွာဆိုေတာ႔ ေမွ်ာ္လင္႔ခ်က္ရွိေသးတာေပါ႔ဗ်ာ။ ၅ နာရီေလာက္က်ေတာ႔ ေရခ်ိဳး၊ ထမင္းစား၊ နားခ်ိန္ ခဏေပးတယ္။ထမင္းစားတဲ႔ေနရာမွာလူေတာ္ေတာ္စံုတယ္ဗ်။ ေနာတုိ႔အျပင္ Thomson church ကလည္းသူတို႔ camp ကိုဒီမွာပဲလာလုပ္တာကိုး။ FOP တုန္းက အသိအစ္ကိုအစ္မေတြနဲ႔ေတာင္ ႏႈတ္ဆက္ျဖစ္ေသးတယ္။
