ေတာင္ၾကီးမွာပဲေနျပီးေက်ာင္းဆက္တက္ခ်င္တယ္ဆိုရင္ ၃ ေက်ာင္းပဲရွိတယ္။ ေတာင္ၾကီးတကၠသိုလ္၊GTC နဲ႔ GCC။ Oops.. ေမ႔လုိ႔.. ပညာေရးေကာလိပ္နဲ႔ Nursing ေက်ာင္းရွိေသးတယ္။ တကၠသိုလ္အရသာဆိုတာ တျခားေက်ာင္းေတြမွာဆို ဘယ္လုိလဲေတာ႔မသိဘူး။ ေနာတုိ႔GCC ကေတာ႔ state ေက်ာင္းအတုိင္းပဲ။ ပြင္႔ပြင္႔လင္းလင္းေျပာရရင္ တကၠသိုလ္ေက်ာင္းသားဘဝဆုိတာကို ေနာ မခံစားလုိက္ရဘူး။ ေနာလဲ စာသင္ခန္းထဲမွာသိပ္မရွိခဲ႔ပါဘူး။ Camp ေတြ ပဲပတ္သြားေနတာကိုး။ အဲ.. 2nd year ေရာက္ေတာ႔ Ah Wa ကေနာကို ရန္ကုန္ေက်ာင္းေျပာင္းမလားတဲ႔။ ေနာ ဆရာဦးထြန္းေအာင္ေက်ာ္ ဘန္းျပျပီး ေတာင္ၾကီးမွာပဲဆက္တက္မယ္လုိ႔ ေျပာခဲ႔တယ္။ ရန္ကုန္မွာ ဒီလုိဆရာမ်ိဳးရွိမွာမဟုတ္ဘူး။ ေနာ ဆရာ႔ဆီမွာ ဆက္တက္ခ်င္ေသးတယ္လုိ႔ေပါ႔။ အမွန္က ကိစၥေလးတခုေၾကာင္႔ဗ်။ အဲဒါေလးက ေနာဘဝကို ေတာ္ေတာ္ေလးေျပာင္းလဲေစခဲ႔တယ္… အခုအခ်ိန္ထိပဲ။ :P … ၃ ႏွစ္ျပီးေတာ႔ (Hons:) ဆက္မတက္ေတာ႔ဘဲ ရန္ကုန္ဆင္းလာခဲ႔တယ္။ ေနာလုိ ေပေတေတ၊ ဂ်စ္ကန္ကန္လုိလူက (Hons:) ဝင္တယ္ဆိုေတာ႔ စဥ္းစားၾကည္႔ဗ်ာ။ ဒါေၾကာင္႔ကို ေပးဆက္မတက္ေတာ႔တာ… lol
ရန္ကုန္မွာ ေနာေနစရာ အိမ္ ၁ အိမ္ပဲရွိတယ္။ nu htang (အေဒၚ)အိမ္ေပါ႔။ Ah Wa ရဲ႕ေရႊမ်ိဳးေတြ ကေတာ႔ရွိတာေပါ႔ဗ်ာ။ ဟက္..ဟက္။ သူမ်ားေတြလုိ နယ္ကတက္လာၿပီး သင္တန္းတက္မယ္ဆိုပါေတာ႔။ ေနာက ငေျပာင္.. ရန္ကုန္မွာေနခဲ႔တဲ႔ အေတာအတြင္း လွည္းတန္းတုိ႔၊ ေျမနီကုန္းတုိ႔လုိ သင္တန္းအမ်ားစုရွိတဲ႔ေနရာေတြမွာ မက်င္လည္ခဲ႔ရဘူးဗ်။ ဆရာ Moses ဆီမွာပဲတက္ျဖစ္တယ္။ ဆရာ ဦးထြန္းေအာင္ေက်ာ္နဲ႔ သင္ပံုေတြအတူတူပဲ။ ေနာက္ဆရာအိမ္မွာ လာသင္ေပးေတာ႔အျပင္သိပ္မထြက္ျဖစ္ဘူး။ Toefl အတြက္ ဆရာေဂၚထူးဆီမွာ ၁ လခြဲေလာက္သြားတက္လုိက္ေသးတယ္။ ေနာမွာ ဘာ cert. မွမရွိဘူး.. ယံုလားေတာ႔မသိဘူး။ Toefl marks န႔ဲလုပ္စားလာတာ.. lol
S’pore မွာေက်ာင္းတက္ဖုိ႔အတြက္ ေက်ာင္းေရြးေတာ႔ poly ကိုဖယ္ျပီးသား။ ေနာက a bit cranky ေလ။ လူတိုင္း poly, poly ျဖစ္ေနေတာ႔ အျမင္ကတ္ျပီး try ကို မ try တာ။ ဆန္႔က်င္ဖက္လုပ္ခ်င္တဲ႔ စိတ္ကေသရာပါဘဲထင္တယ္.. မေကာင္းတဲ႔အက်င္႔ဆိုေတာ႔လည္း ဖ်က္ရခက္တယ္ဗ်။ ခံေပါ႔.. ေနာက္ SIM ကစာေမးပြဲလာစစ္တယ္။ ေျဖျဖစ္ပံုက ဟာသ။ nu htang အိမ္က နဝေဒးလမ္းထဲမွာ၊ ဒဂံု ၁ နဲ႔ မ်က္ႏွာခ်င္းဆုိင္ပဲ။ စာေမးပြဲက Grand Plaza Park Royal Hotel မွာလာလုပ္တာ။ အဲဒီမနက္ လျပည္႔ဝန္းမွာ ပစၥည္းသြားဝယ္ရင္း ေၾကျငာ banner ဖတ္မိေတာ႔ အဲဒီညေနပိုင္းမွာ test ရွိတယ္ဆိုတာနဲ႔ ေလွ်ာက္သြားေျဖၾကည္႔လုိက္တာ။ ေနာက္ ၁ ပတ္ေလာက္ၾကာေတာ႔ ေက်ာင္းက ေခၚစာေရာက္လာတယ္။ အားပါးပါး.. ေက်ာင္းလခေတြက အျမင္႔မွာခ်ည္းပဲ။ ျပီးေတာ႔ ၃ ႏွစ္ေတာင္တက္ရမွာဆိုေတာ႔… အဲဒါနဲ႔ sorry လုိက္ရတယ္ဗ်ာ။ ေနာက္ပိုင္း ကန္႔သတ္ေက်ာင္းသားေတြကို loan ေပးမယ္ဆိုေပမဲ႔ မတက္ျဖစ္ခဲ႔ဘူး။ ေနာက္ဆံုး IATA course ကိုပဲေရြးလုိက္တယ္။ အမွန္ ေနာ s’pore အေျခအေနကို ဘာမွသိတာမဟုတ္ဘူး။ short course တခုခု အရင္တက္ၾကည္႔မယ္ဆိုျပီး ေရြးလုိက္တာ.. ေနာက္ Aviation အပိုင္းလည္းစိတ္ဝင္စားလုိ႔ဗ်။ ဒီေရာက္ေတာ႔ လြဲျပန္ျပီ။ တေန႔တေန႔ lecture ပဲေပးေနတယ္။ ေနာ theory ေတြကို ေရလည္မုန္းတာ။ ျပီးေတာ႔ government schools ကလြဲရင္ Aviation နဲ႔ပတ္သက္ျပီး အျပင္သပ္သပ္ course ရွာမေတြ႔ေတာ႔ ေနာ ေလသြားတာေပါ႔။ SIM သြားၾကည္႔ေတာ႔ အရမ္းမိုက္တယ္.. တကယ္႔ uni အစစ္ဗ်.. သြားပါျပီ။
တစ္ေန႔ NUS က ISS မွာ GDip. နဲ႔ Master တန္းေတြအတြက္ entrance ဝင္ခြင္႔ေခၚတာေတြ႔လုိ႔ computer လုိင္းျပန္ဝင္ၾကည္႔မလားဆိုျပီး ေလွ်ာက္လုိက္တယ္။ စာေမးပြဲ ေရွ႕တရက္ အမီေလးပဲ။ အိမ္နဲ႔ NUS ကနီးနီးေလးဆိုေတာ႔ ေနာက္ရက္ Kent Ridge terminal ကေန Shuttle bus စီးျပီး ISS ကိုသြားတယ္။ ဒီမွာက ေျမပံုၾကည္႔တတ္ရင္ လုပ္စားလုိ႔႔တယ္။ :P ဒီတခါလဲ ဆုေတာင္းျပီးပဲေျဖလုိက္တာ။ English proficiency နဲ႔ Maths ေမးတယ္။ ေဖာလုိက္တာေပါ႔။ အဲဒီညေနမွာပဲ ISS က ဖုန္းလာျပီး ေနာက္တရက္interview လာဖို႔ေျပာတယ္။ interview လည္းေအာင္ျပီး document ေတြတင္ရမယ္႔အခ်ိန္ ျပသာနာစတာပဲ။ အစက as usual… toefl marks နဲ႔ပဲတင္လုိက္တာ။ ေနာက္ျမန္မာျပည္က ဘြဲ႕လက္မွတ္တို႔၊ marks, gradings ေတြ ေတာင္းေတာ႔ ေနာမွာ မရွိဘူး။ gradings နဲ႔ transcripts ဆုိတာ ဘာလဲေတာင္မသိဘူး။ အမွတ္စာရင္းေတာင္ UCSM ထိကိုယ္တုိင္သြားေတာင္းလုိ႔ ရတာ။ 1st year နဲ႔ 2nd year အမွတ္ေတြက ဘာသာတုိင္းနီးပါး ၄၀ ေတြဗ်။ lol 3rd year အမွတ္ေတာင္ ၄၀ ခ်ည္းေပးထားေသးတာ။ ေနာလည္းေျပာမေနခ်င္ေတာ႔ဘူး။ ဒါေပမဲ႔ ေမာ္ကြန္းထိန္း ခ်ယ္ေလးကို “Hons. က အမွတ္ ၄၀ နဲ႔ေတာင္ဝင္လုိ႔ရတယ္ ဟုတ္လား” လုိ႔ ရစ္လုိက္ေတာ႔ “မင္းက Hons. ဝင္လုိ႔လား” တဲ႔။ ေရလည္ တင္းေနတဲ႔ အခ်ိန္ဆိုေတာ႔.. (ဒဟတ္ေတာ အထိ ဒုကၡသြားခံခဲ႔ရတာဗ်) ေနာကလည္း “ေနာမသိဘူး၊ သူငယ္ခ်င္းေတြေျပာတာပဲ” လုိ႕ထပ္ရစ္လုိက္တယ္။ တကယ္လည္း ေနာ ေအာင္စာရင္းသြားမၾကည္႔ခဲ႔ဘူးဗ်။ ဒါနဲ႔ Checking ျပန္လုပ္ၾကည္႔ေတာ႔ “ေၾသာ္.. ဝင္သားပဲ” ဆုိျပီး အမွတ္ေတြကို ၆၀ ထိတိုးေပးလုိက္ပါတယ္ခင္ဗ်ား..ေက်းဇူးလည္းတင္ပါတယ္။ အရမ္းလည္းေကာင္းတယ္.. စိတ္ကုန္ဖုိ႔။ ေျပာရရင္ေတာ႔… ဒီ marks နဲ႔ NUS က လက္ခံပါ႔မလားဗ်။ ရန္ကုန္ေက်ာင္းက အစ္ကိုအစ္မေတြရဲ႕ document ေတြဆို အမိုက္စားေတြ.. ဘဝေပးကြာပါ႔ဗ်ာ။ ဆိုေတာ႔..NUS ကိုလည္း ta tar ေပါ႔။ ေနာ ေတာ္ေတာ္ေလးစိတ္နာသြားတယ္။ ေနာက္ပိုင္း ေက်ာင္းတက္ခ်င္စိတ္ကို မရွိေတာ႔ဘူး။ ဒီႏုိင္ငံမွာ ရွိေနသေရြ႕ေပါ႔။ anyhow.. အရာရာတုိင္းကို ေက်းဇူးေတာ္ ခ်ီးမြမ္းျပီး လက္ခံလုိက္တယ္…

အဲဒီတုန္းက တုိင္းနဲ႔ျပည္နယ္ လူေရြးပြဲအတြက္လား…သိပ္မမွတ္မိေတာ႔ဘူး။ ေအာက္ကြင္းမွာ ျပိဳင္ပြဲေတြရွိတယ္။ Open Tournament ေတြလည္း ေအာက္ကြင္းမွာပဲ လုပ္ေလ႔ရွိတယ္။ ညေနပိုင္းဆိုရင္ ေဘာလံုးကြင္းထဲမွာ တုိက္ကြမ္ဒို၊ ဂ်ဴဒို၊ ကရာေတးဒို သင္တန္းေတြရွိတယ္။ တျခားအားကစားေတြက သူ႔ရံုနဲ႔သူ၊ ေဘာလံုးကြင္းထဲက မိုးလံုေလလံု ရံုထဲမွာက ဒီ ၃ မ်ိဳးပဲကစားၾကတယ္။ အဲဒီမွာစတာ.. Umm.. Happy Birthday to you!

Last night, my eldest bro called me. During these days, he was quite busy with his work and other thingys. So we had been out of contact for some time. By the time he called me, I was a bit fierce and just retorted with balky answers. But, he kept tolerate on me and didn’t scold me at all. I became a bit blur blur. And how come.. huhh?? I use to be afraid of him cos of his straight face mahh.. He questioned me what day tomorrow would be. I simply replied “Friday lorr”. He asked again.. I said, “Feb 13”. Then, he puzzled me whether I could tell what that day would be. I had no idea on the spot.
After that, he didn’t say anything else and just sent an email to me. When I read it.. ohh.. no! I should die! U know, tomorrow is our General Aung San’s birthday. No wonder.. that’s why purposely, he was asking me like that.
What can I do for our Nation’s Father?? Umm… let me see.. nothing special!! Anyway, I could think of one thing and so just tried to translate what my bro passed to me. Then, I gave a trial on making a short vid for the song that I received from one of my siss. Actually, we had learnt it when we were in primary 1 or 2.. I’m not sure, forgot already. :P It was one of the poems from our school text book. It’s also a kinda rhyme lahh..

YMCA, Singapore.

One of my colleagues emailed me to take part in the count down party for the Youth Olympic 2010. Being a volunteer of YMCA, ok lor… :D So, after the class, I just went down to YMCA, Singapore. There, we had a short briefing and then, marched from YMCA, Orchard all the way down to Cityhall. The event was between Parliament and St. Andrew’s Cathedral, opposite to Pennisula plaza where F1 race 2008 was befalled. :P Within our group, there were students from YMCA training classes, beneficiaries and we, volunteers. By the time we passed by SMU, we met with Dr. Vivian and Mr. Teo. At first, I totally didn’t know that they were VIPs. Oops! only when my colleague passed our group photo to me, I was surprised. They didn’t show off and they were just the same as us, not like those big gangs from my country. :PWhen we reached there, there were also many other organizations and associations gathering for that so called “special event”. To be frankly, till at that time, I had not realized their purpose of holding that event and how crucial that event was for them. Then, it turned to 6pm.. other VIPs arrived and PM Lee gave speech. Live broadcast was being shown on the big screen as the final decision would be made whether S’pore or Russia be the host for Youth Olympics 2010.. Once the committee announced that S’pore was chosen to be the host for it, all jumped with joy and the artists, artistes, vocalists started entertaining. How would you feel at that time?? Me.. my body was shivering cos of the music and at the same time, I got some strange feelings.
I’m not a Singaporean. But whatever I do or wherever I’m, I use to be the only Myanmar among them. And I feel that they never regard me as a peculiar one or from another country. Whenever I met someone, he/she guessed I’m a Singaporean. When I replied “no”, they still kept on guessing that whether I’m a Malay or Philippino. Some even guessed I might be a Thai. They never thought that I’m from Myanmar.. sooooo furny (s’pore accent)! :P So, by the time they were happy for their country, u think I could be as happy as them?? Of course not. I felt sorry for myself that I don’t have such kinda chance to be gala for my country. U know?? My eyes were filled with tears.. I was alone on my way back to home with empty mind…

ေက်ာင္းတက္ခဲ႔တဲ႔ကာလ တေလွ်ာက္ Yvonne (ေနာက သူ႔ကို Yi Maw လို႔ေခၚတယ္။ ကိုးရီးယားလုိ အေဒၚေလ။ ဘာေၾကာင္႔လဲဆိုေတာ႔ Ah nu နဲ႔ရြယ္တူမို႔လုိ႔)၊ Jye Jye Dongmei ၊ မေရႊစင္ နဲ႔ပဲတြဲခဲ႔တယ္။ Yi Maw က ေနာရဲ႕ God mother ေလ။ ေနာလုိအပ္တဲ႔အခ်ိန္တိုင္း Yi Maw ေနာေဘးမွာအျမဲရွိတယ္။ Jye Jye နဲ႔က ေနာက္ပိုင္းသိပ္ မတြဲျဖစ္ဘူး၊ သူက bf. ရသြားတာကိုး။ မေရႊစင္က ဘားအံက။ တုိင္းရင္းသူပဲ။ စိတ္သေဘာထားျဖဴျပီး အျမဲျပံဳးေနတတ္တယ္။ အရမ္းခ်စ္ဖုိ႔ေကာင္းတယ္ဗ်။ အစ္မက အလုပ္လုပ္ရင္း ေက်ာင္းတက္တာ။ အစ္မရဲ႕ ရံုးက Vega Air Ticket Centre ၊ Cityhall က Peninsula Plaza (၃) လႊာမွာ။ ေက်ာင္းတက္ကတည္းက တျခားသြားစရာ မရွိရင္ ေနာက အစ္မေရႊစင္ရံုးမွာ သြားရႈပ္ေနက်ဗ်။ S’pore ရံုးခြဲမွာ ဒိုင္ခံထိုင္တာက ကို Gu Gu ေလ။ သူက Boss ဗ်။ ေနာက္ပိုင္း မလင္းမြန္ေရာက္လာတယ္။ မလင္းမြန္က ကို Gu Gu ရဲ႕ lady ။ ေနာ ေက်းဇူးေတာ္ အရမ္းခ်ီးမြမ္းတယ္ သိလား။ အျမဲတမ္း စိတ္ေကာင္းတဲ႔သူေတြနဲ႔ပဲ ဆံုေတြ႕ခြင္႔ေပးလုိ႔ေလ။ အမွန္ ေနာက ဘာမွလုပ္တတ္တာမဟုတ္ဘူးဗ်။ ရံုးေရာက္ရင္ game ပဲေဆာ႔ေနတာ။ ျမိဳ႕ထဲထြက္ျပီဆိုရင္ ရံုးေရာက္ျဖစ္တာမ်ားတယ္။ အံ႔ၾသဖို႔ေကာင္းတာက Vega မွာရွိတဲ႔သူေတြေကာ၊ Vega နဲ႔ပတ္သက္သူေတြကအစ တစ္ size ထဲေတြဗ်။ ရုပ္ေတြကလည္းဆင္ၾကေတာ႔ ေနာနဲ႔မေရႊစင္ျဖစ္ျဖစ္၊ မလင္းမြန္နဲ႔ပဲျဖစ္ျဖစ္ အျပင္သြားရင္ Peninsula ကသူေတြဆို ေနာတုိ႔ကို အမ်ိဳးေတြလားလုိ႔ေတာင္ေမးၾကတယ္.. ဟီး။ အဲ..လူၾကီးေတာင္မကဘူး။ Vega မ်ိဳးဆက္သစ္ Jack Jack, Flor Flor နဲ႔ ဖူးဖူးေလးတို႔ေကာပဲ။ သူတို႔ေလးေတြက ဝဝကစ္ကစ္ေလးေတြ။ အရမ္းခ်စ္ဖုိ႔ေကာင္းတယ္။ Jack Jack နဲ႔ Flor Flor က Bangkok မွာေနတာ။ ဒီကိုအလည္လာတုန္းကဆို ေနာနဲ႔ အဖြဲ႔ေတြ ေပါ႔ဗ်ာ။ သူတို႔အေမနဲ႔ ေတာက္ေလွ်ာက္ရံုးလုိက္လာၾကေတာ႔ Cityhall မွာပဲ တေနကုန္ေနျဖစ္တာေပါ႔။ ေနာရံုးေရာက္ရင္ ေနာနဲ႔ေလွ်ာက္သြားျပီး ကစားရေတာ႔ Jack Jack ဆိုေပ်ာ္တာေပါ႔။ Jack Jack ေလးက ေတာ္ေတာ္ရယ္ရတယ္။ သူက Escalator ထက္ Lift ကိုပိုၾကိဳက္တယ္ဗ်။ ရံုးက ၃ လႊာမွာဆိုေတာ႔ Jack Jack ဘာလုပ္လဲသိလား။ ေနာကို အေနာက္ဘက္ Lift ရွိတဲ႔ေနရာေခၚသြား၊ ေအာက္ဆင္းမယ္ဆိုျပီး button ႏွိပ္တယ္။ ျပီးရင္ lift ထဲမွာပဲ အထပ္ ၂၀ ေက်ာ္အထိ တက္လုိက္ ဆင္းလုိက္ လုပ္ေနေတာ႔တာပဲ။ အတက္အဆင္း၊ အဖြင္႔အပိတ္ ခလုတ္ေတြ ႏွိပ္တာကေတာ႔ ကၽြမ္းက်င္အဆင္႔ပဲ။ ၃ ႏွစ္ေတာင္ျပည္႔ေသးတာမဟုတ္ဘူး။ ေနာက္ ဖူးဖူးေလး ေက်ာင္းပိတ္ရက္ Pakistan ကေန အလည္လာေတာ႔လည္း ေနာနဲ႕ေဆာ႔ျဖစ္တယ္။ ရံုးမွာက ကစားေဖာ္မရိွေတာ႔ သူတို႔ေလးေတြ ပ်င္းတာေပါ႔ဗ်ာ။

မ်ားေသာအားျဖင္႔ စေနညေန ေနာ ဘုရားေက်ာင္းမွာ လုပ္စရာ သိပ္မရွိရင္ ရံုးေရာက္ျဖစ္တယ္။ မေရႊစင္နဲ႔အေဖာ္လုပ္၊ ဆုိင္သိမ္းျပီးသြားရင္ မုန္႔ေတြသြားစားၾကတယ္။ အစ္မ ဘဲဘဲ လည္းပါတယ္ဗ်။ Sunday ေတြဆိုရင္ေတာ႔ ေန႔လည္ ဘုရားေက်ာင္းျပီးရင္ ရံုးဝင္ျဖစ္တယ္။ တျခား ၾကားျဖတ္အစီအစဥ္ေတြ မရွိရင္ေပါ႔ဗ်ာ။ အိမ္က Clementi မွာ၊ မနက္ဘုရားေက်ာင္းက Lavender မွာ၊ ကခ်င္ဘုရားေက်ာင္းက Kembangan မွာ.. s’pore အေရွ႕နဲ႔အေနာက္ပဲ။ Cityhall က အလယ္မွာဆိုေတာ႔ အိမ္တေခါက္ျပန္မေနေတာ႔ဘဲ ဘုရားေက်ာင္းျပီးရင္ ရံုးမွာ ခဏဝင္ေန၊ ညေနက်ေတာ႔ ကခ်င္ဘုရားေက်ာင္းဆက္သြားေပါ႔ဗ်ာ။ ရံုးမွာ ေနေနတဲ႔အခ်ိန္ေတြ ဆိုရင္ စိတ္ခ်မ္းသာတယ္ဗ်။ မိသားစုလုိ လုိအပ္တာရွိရင္ဝိုင္းကူလုပ္ေပးလုိက္ရတာ ေပ်ာ္တယ္ဗ်။ ေနာနဲ႕ပတ္သက္တဲ႔သူေတြ အကူအညီလုိရင္လည္း တစ္လွည္႔ေပါ႔ဗ်ာ။ ေနာက ၾကားခံလူပါ။ ဘယ္ေလာက္ေကာင္းလဲ ? ေလာကမွာေငြက အေရးမၾကီးဘူးဗ်။ တစ္ေယာက္နဲ႔တစ္ေယာက္ ေမတၱာ သာ အျပန္အလွန္ ထားတတ္ၾကရင္….. ေနာခံယူထားတာက ကိုယ္အသက္ရွင္ေနတုန္းေလး တတ္ႏိုင္သမွ် ေစတနာသန္႔သန္႔ နဲ႔ လုပ္ေပးသြားခ်င္တယ္ဗ်ာ..

ေက်းဇူးပဲ Vega ေရ!

Good News Club

Aunty Mary asked me whether I was free on Saturday mornings. I simply replied that “Yes, I’m.” I was just schooling and worked part time only in the evenings. So.. ok lorr. As I’m the one who can’t stay without doing something mahh.. :D Aunty Mary is in charge of Children Ministry and currently running the GNC at the Bible Church. Actually, GNC is under CEF (Children Evangelical Fellowship). At first, I just helped out in preparing crafts and assisted Aunty Mary in whatever she needs. Later, she gave me some more responsibilities.

I gradually noticed about myself that I do really enjoy dealing with kids. All my boys and girls are so cute and innocent but they r smarter than u all, u know?? :P On the other hand, I feel sorry for my Myanmar kids. If I have a hit to built a community for my Myanmar kids and give the same atmosphere like here, how nice it’ll be. Here, kids can widen their knowledge since K1, K2.. cos they can utilize variety of supported materials. Then, in GNC, one thing which made me impressed was everything’s well-prepared and takes serious. Before we start each class, we always have devotion and a quick briefing. After the classes give over, we still have an overall revision on that day’s activities and thrash out in which ways we can make better and better.
A special event “Mission Sunday” is still sticking in my mind. Every year, the GNC use to celebrates mission Sunday and that year was for Myanmar and I was there. Amazing! Purposely, I could manage to serve some of our traditional foods and let all kids try. I found out that they were quite health-conscious and most of them dared not try new things.. not like Myanmar kids. :P That made me feel a bit awkward lahh.. cos for us, we can give a try on every kind of foods mahh.. can’t we??
After I had finished my studies and cos of my work, I temporary pause helping out there.. Sighhh.. I miss my kids!!!

Chinese New Year 2009! (CNY - 1)

တစ္ႏွစ္နဲ႔ တစ္ႏွစ္ မရိုးရေအာင္ပါဘဲ…

အရင္ႏွစ္ CNY တုန္းက ဦးေလး၊ အေဒၚအိမ္ေတြ ပတ္သြားျပီး singapore CNY အျပည္႔အဝ ခံစားလုိက္တယ္။ ဒီႏိုင္ငံက ႏွစ္သစ္ကူးမွာ လူၾကီးေတြကို ဂါရဝျပဳရင္ လိေမၼာ္သီးယူသြားေပးရတယ္ဗ်။ အဲဒီေတာ႔မွ အမ္ေပါင္း ရတာ.. ဟီး… ေက်ာင္းတက္ေနတုန္းဆိုေတာ႔ သြားခ်င္တဲ႔ေနရာသြား၊ လုပ္ခ်င္တာေတြကို လြတ္လြတ္လပ္လပ္ စိတ္ၾကိဳက္လုပ္ခြင္႔ရၿပီး ကိုယ္႔ အခ်ိန္ေတြကို ကိုယ္တုိင္ပိုင္ဆိုင္စီမံခြင္႔ ရခဲ႔တဲ႔အခ်ိန္ေလးေတြေပါ႔။ (ေျပာေနရင္း လမ္းေၾကာင္းကလြဲေတာ႔မယ္။ ဒီႏွစ္ CNY မွာ camp တက္ျဖစ္တဲ႔ အေၾကာင္းေရးမလုိ႔ဗ်)

CNY မတုိင္ခင္ကတည္းက ဘုရားေက်ာင္းမွာ camp ရွိတဲ႔ အေၾကာင္းေၾကျငာတယ္။ ဒီမွာက CNY အတြက္ public holiday က ၂ ရက္ပဲေပးတာဗ်။ ဒါေပမဲ႔ company အလုိက္ကြာတာေပါ႔ဗ်ာ။ ေနာတုိ႔ company ဆိုရင္ အဲဒီ ၂ ရက္အျပင္ ေနာက္ ၂ ရက္ဆက္ပိတ္ေပးတယ္ဗ်။ company မွာကတရုတ္လူမ်ဳိးေတြခ်ည္းေလ။ company ကခြင္႔ထပ္မေပးလဲ သူတို႔ရဲ႕ annual leave ထဲကေနဆက္ယူၾကေတာ႔ ရုံးမွာ လူမရွိေတာ႔ဘူး။ အဲေတာ႔ ေနာလည္း automatic ခြင္႔ယူျပီးသားျဖစ္သြားတာေပါ႔။ camp ကေတာ႔ ၁ ညအိပ္ရက္တိုသင္တန္းေလးပါ။ Kachin Family Camp တဲ႔။

ေနာရဲ႕ God father မိသားစုနဲ႔ တျခား ဦးေလး၊ အေဒၚ၊ pastor ေတြကလည္း အဲဒီရက္ထဲ သူတို႔ဆီ လာလည္ၾကဖို႔ ေခၚေနၾကေတာ႔ ေနာ camp ဝင္ဖို႔က မေသခ်ာေသးဘူးဗ်။ ေနာ ကခ်င္ အစ္ကိုအစ္မေတြကေတာ႔ ေနာ camp ဝင္ကိုဝင္ရမယ္တဲ႔ (ေၾကာက္ရတယ္ဗ်)။ သိတဲ႔အတုိင္းပဲဗ်ာ.. ေနာက တေန႕တာအတြက္ေတာင္ ေနာက္နာရီ အနည္းငယ္အတြင္း ဘာျဖစ္မလဲဆိုတာ ရွိတာမဟုတ္ဘူး။ fire tower lookin’ dance သိပ္လုပ္တတ္တာဗ်။ ဟီး… ဆိုေတာ႔ကာ.. just relax & see how first lorr ေပါ႔

Camp site ေရာက္ေတာ႔ almost 2 o’clock! 1^st Lecture နည္းနည္းမီလုိက္ေသးတယ္။ ၄ နာရီေလာက္က်ေတာ႔ group activities စတယ္။ lecture ခန္းေနာက္ဖက္ ျမက္ခင္းျပင္အတန္ငယ္ရွိေသာေနရာမွာေပါ႔ဗ်ာ။ ပထမ ၂ ပြဲဆက္တိုက္ ေနာတို႔ group 1 က တတိယရတယ္ဗ် သိလား၊ ၃ဖြဲ႕ရွိတဲ႔အထဲမွာေလ။ lol ေနာေရလည္ဓါတ္က်သြားတာဗ်။ ေနာဘယ္ camp သြားသြား၊ ဘယ္ group မွာပဲျဖစ္ျဖစ္ ပထမခ်ည္းရခဲ႔တာ။ အခုေတာ႔ သြားပါျပီ ဆိုျပီးေတာ႔ေလ။ ဒါေပမဲ႔ အခု games အျပင္၊ ညပိုင္း activities ေတြမွာလည္း အမွတ္ေပးအုံးမွာဆိုေတာ႔ ေမွ်ာ္လင္႔ခ်က္ရွိေသးတာေပါ႔ဗ်ာ။ ၅ နာရီေလာက္က်ေတာ႔ ေရခ်ိဳး၊ ထမင္းစား၊ နားခ်ိန္ ခဏေပးတယ္။ထမင္းစားတဲ႔ေနရာမွာလူေတာ္ေတာ္စံုတယ္ဗ်။ ေနာတုိ႔အျပင္ Thomson church ကလည္းသူတို႔ camp ကိုဒီမွာပဲလာလုပ္တာကိုး။ FOP တုန္းက အသိအစ္ကိုအစ္မေတြနဲ႔ေတာင္ ႏႈတ္ဆက္ျဖစ္ေသးတယ္။

ညပိုင္း Lecture ျပီးေတာ႔ စြမ္းရည္ျပျပိဳင္ပြဲ စတယ္။ ေနာတုိ႔ကျမန္မာျပည္မွာကတည္းက အေမကေမြး၊ သင္တန္းကေကၽြး လုပ္လာတဲ႔ camp ဂ်ိဳးဆိုေတာ႔ camp idea ေတြနည္းနည္းေပးလုိက္တယ္။ ၉ နာရီေလာက္က်ေတာ႔ လူၾကီး၊လူငယ္ ၂ ဖြဲ႕ခြဲ၊ လူငယ္ေတြက park ဘက္သြားျပီး discussion လုပ္တယ္။ လူမ်ိဳးကိုထိန္းသိမ္းေစာင္႔ေရွာက္ဖို႔၊ ကခ်င္လူငယ္နဲ႔ အခ်စ္ေရး၊အိမ္ေထာင္ေရးေတြေပါ႔ဗ်ာ။ ေနာခံစားလုိ႔ကိုမရဘူးဗ်။ (သြားမေျပာနဲ႔ေနာ္။ ေတာ္ၾကာ ဆရာေတြ ေနာကို lecture ထပ္ေပးေနအုန္းမယ္) ေနာအတြက္က ရွင္းရွင္းေလး။ အခ်ိန္တန္ မိဘသေဘာတူတဲ႔သူနဲ႔ ယူမယ္႔ကိစၥ၊ အုန္း မစားေနခ်င္ဘူး။ ေနာ ေတာင္႔တလုိခ်င္တာက အစ္ကိုအစ္မဆီကေမတၱာ၊ အဲဒီအေပၚမွာပဲ thrilled ျဖစ္တာ (ေၾကျငာဝင္တာမဟုတ္ပါဘူးဗ်ာ).. ေနာအစ္ကိုေတြ ေတာ္ေတာ္လည္တယ္ဗ်။ discussion ျပီးလို႔ အေဆာင္ျပန္တဲ႔အခ်ိန္ ေနာကိုဆူျဖစ္ေအာင္ဆူသြားၾကေသးတယ္။ “မင္း..ဆရာေျပာတာေသခ်ာနားမေထာင္ဘူးမလား” “ စိတ္မဝင္စားဘူးမလား” “ ဖုန္းကိုဟုိကလိ ဒီကလိ လုပ္ေနတာ ေတြ႔တယ္” တဲ႔။ ဘလုိင္းၾကီး power ျပသြားတာေလ။ ဘယ္ရမလဲ… ေနာကလည္း “အာ..မဟုတ္ပါဘူး။ အမွန္အကန္အေလးအနက္ထားလုိ႔ လက္ေတြ႕စမ္းသပ္ အေကာင္အထည္ေဖာ္ၾကည္႔မလားဆိုျပီး လူရွာေနတာဗ်” လို႔ျပန္ကစ္ျပီး လစ္တာေပါ႔။ ေနာခ်စ္တဲ႔ မမေတြနဲ႔ တစ္ခန္းတည္းယူထားေတာ႔ ေပ်ာ္စရာၾကီး။ Ah Ji, Ah Shawng Htu Shan တို႔နဲ႔ေပါ႔။ တျခား အဘြား ၃ ေယာက္ေတာ႔ပါတယ္။ သူတို႔ကေတာ႔ ေစာေစာ အိပ္ယာဝင္သြားၾကတယ္။ Ah Shawng Ja Awn, Ah Shawng Seng Bu မလာဘူးဗ်။ Ah Ba Kai နဲ႔ Ah Bawk Bawm Win ကိုလည္း သတိရတယ္။ သူတို႔သာရွိရင္ ေနာပိုေပ်ာ္မွာဗ်။ ည ၁၂ ေလာက္ အိပ္ယာဝင္ၾကတယ္။

မနက္ ၅ နာရီခြဲ ထရမယ္တဲ႔။ ေနာ ႏုိးေတာ႔ ၆ နာရီ.. ဟီး.. ေနာအခန္းထဲက အဘြားေတြနဲ႔ အစ္မေတြအားလုံး မနက္စာ အတြက္ေတာင္ ျပင္ဆင္ၿပီးေနၾကျပီ။ ေနာ အိပ္ခ်င္မူးတူးနဲ႕မ်က္ႏွာသစ္၊ သြားတိုက္ၿပီး ထမင္းစားေဆာင္ဖက္သြားတယ္။ ေနာက ညနက္၊ မိုးလင္းခါနီးထိ မအိပ္ရခ်င္ေနပါေစ။ မနက္ ၅ နာရီ ကေန ၈ နာရီ အတြင္းအိပ္ခြင္႔ရရင္ အိပ္ေရးဝတယ္ဗ်။ ေနာ တို႔ ကခ်င္ အဖြဲ႕ရဲ႕ breakfast က ၾကက္ဥhalf-boiled, sandwich နဲ႕ hot drink ေပါ႔။ ေနာမွ မ်က္စိဖြင္႔လုိ႔မရေသးတာ။ ထမင္းစားတဲ႔ေနရာေရာက္ေတာ႔ as usual ေနာအစ္ကိုေတြဝိုင္းမွာ ထိုင္ျပီး ခံုေပၚမွာ ေမွာက္အိပ္ေနတာေပါ႔။ ေနာမွ အိပ္ခ်င္မေျပေသးတာ။ ေနာအစ္ကိုေတြ စတာေတာင္ျပန္ရန္မေတြ႔အားပါဘူးဗ်ာ။ အဲဒီတုန္းက ေရလည္အိပ္ခ်င္ေနတာဗ်။ ခဏၾကာေတာ႔ Ah shawng htu shang ေလ.. Thomson အဖြဲ႕ဆီသြားျပီး ေကာက္ညွင္းေပါင္းသြားယူေနတယ္။ သူတို႔breakfast ကက်ေတာ႔ ေကာက္ညွင္းေပါင္းနဲ႔ ငါးကေလးေတြေၾကာ္ထားတာဗ်။ ေနာ နည္းနည္းမ်က္လုံးက်ယ္လာၿပီ.. :D ေနာက္ မေနႏုိင္ေတာ႔ဘူးဗ်ာ. Ah shawng တုိ႔ ဝိုင္းဆီသြားၿပီး ေကာက္ညွင္းေပါင္း ေတာင္းစားလုိက္တာေပါ႔။ အမွန္ ah shawng က ဆရာတစ္ေယာက္စားခ်င္တယ္ဆိုလုိ႔ သြားယူေပးတာတဲ႔။ (မသိရင္လည္း ေမ႔လုိက္၊ သိရင္လည္းျပန္သြားေျပာမေနနဲ႔အုံး။ ေနာက အဲဒီဆရာကို သိပ္ၾကည္တာမဟုတ္ဘူးဗ်။ ဘာေၾကာင္႔လဲ လာမေမးနဲ႔။ ေနာလည္းမသိဘူး။ ok? ) ဒါေပမဲ႔ေနာက ခပ္တည္တည္ နဲ႔ “ေနာစားခ်င္တယ္။ ေနာနည္းနည္းစားမယ္” လုိ႔ ah shawng ကိုေျပာျပီး စားတာေပါ႔။ အမယ္.. သူက “စားေလ..ရပါတယ္” တဲ႔ ah shawng ယူလာတဲ႔ဟာကိုပဲ.. lol
ေနာက္ Morning devotion လုပ္၊ lecture နည္းနည္းေပးျပီး camp အပိတ္ ဆုေတာင္းပြဲ စတယ္။ ဟဲ..ဟဲ.. ၾကြားတာေတာ႔ မဟုတ္ပါဘူးဗ်ာ။ ေနာက္ဆံုး group အလုိက္ဆုေပးေတာ႔ ေနာတို႔ group 1 ပထမရတယ္ဗ်။ ေနာက္ group photo ေတြရုိက္ျပီး ၁၁ နာရီခြဲေလာက္မွာ ေန႔လည္စာ စားၾကတယ္။

၁၂ နာရီမွာ camp ျပီးသြားေပမဲ႔ Kachin church နဲ႔Thomson church .. fellowship ေဘာလံုးပြဲရွိေတာ႔ မျပန္ျဖစ္ၾကေသးဘူး။ ေဘာလံုးပြဲက ၃ နာရီမွစမွာ။ အဲဒါနဲ႔ camp ကေနတဆက္တည္း ေနာ ဦးေလးအိမ္မွာပဲ ခဏနားၾကျပီး ၂ နာရီေက်ာ္ေတာ႔ Farrer park နားက ငွါးထားတဲ႔ ေဘာလံုးကြင္းဆီ ခ်ီတက္ၾကတာေပါ႔။ ဟိုေရာက္ေတာ႔ Thomson အဖြဲ႔ေတြေတာင္ ေရာက္ေနၿပီ။ ေနာ တစ္သက္ ေဘာလံုးပြဲ အားေပးဖူးတာ ဒီေရာက္မွဗ်။ ငယ္ငယ္က တျခားအားကစားေတြလုပ္၊ Ah Wa ရဲ႕tennis ျပိဳင္ပြဲေတြ လုိက္အားေပး၊ ၾကည္႔ဖူးေပမဲ႔ ေဘာလံုးပြဲက်ေတာ႔ အျပင္မွာ တေခါက္မွ မၾကည္႔ဖူးဘူးဗ်။ ဒီအေခါက္နဲ႔ဆို ၃ ၾကိမ္ေျမာက္ရွိျပီ။ ေနာအခုထိမွတ္မိေနေသးတယ္။ ေနာၾကည္႔တဲ႔ပထမဆံုးပြဲ Thomson နဲ႔ ကန္တုန္းက ေနာအရမ္းရင္တုန္တာဗ်။ ရႈံးမွာ အရမ္းေၾကာက္တယ္။ ကန္ေနတဲ႔သူေတြထက္ေတာင္ပိုပင္ပန္းတယ္ဗ်။ အဲဒီအေခါက္တုန္းကဆို ေဘာလံုးပြဲလည္းျပီးေရာ၊ ႏိုင္လညး္ႏုိင္ေရာ.. ေနာ ႏွလံုးအရမး္တုန္ျပီး အသက္ရႈရပ္သြားမလား လုိ႔ေတာင္ ထင္ရတယ္။ ေနာဆို ေဘာလံုးပြဲလုိက္အားေပးတုိင္း ေနာအစ္ကိုေတြကိုေျပာထားတယ္။ ရႈံးလုိ႔ကေတာ႔ ဘယ္ေတာ႔မွ လုိက္မအားေပးေတာ႔ဘူးလုိ႔။ အဲလုိ မေတြးသင္႔၊ မေျပာသင္႔ဘူးဆုိတာ ေနာသိပါတယ္။ ဒါေပမဲ႔ မတတ္ႏုိင္ဘူးဗ်ာ။ ေနာ အရႈံးကို မရင္ဆိုင္ရဲဘူးဗ်။ အဲ.. ေနာက္ဆံုးေတာ႔ ေနာတို႔ ကခ်င္ အဖြဲ႕ ႏိုင္သြားပါတယ္။ ပင္လည္း ပင္ပန္းေနျပီဆိုေတာ႔ ေဘာလံုးပြဲျပီးတာနဲ႔ အိမ္ပဲျပန္လာခဲ႔တယ္။ ေနာ ကိုယ္႔အေၾကာင္းကုိ ကုိယ္အသိဆံုးပါ။ အဲလုိပဲ camp ေတြသြားျပီးျပန္လာရင္ အနည္းဆံုး ၁ ပတ္ေလာက္ကေတာ႔ ဝမ္းနည္းေပေတာ႔ဘဲ။ ေတာ္ေသးတာေပါ႔… အိမ္ျပန္ေရာက္ေတာ႔ အိမ္မွာ အစ္မေတြရွိေနလုိ႔..sighhh…

The Bible Church & Mt. Sinai Cell

(Around Mid June ’07…)

Eee… it’s quite far and takes time to attend the service at Thomson Church as it’s in Novena. Then, I stay in Clementi. So.. how?? I had been involving there since I was in s’pore. Actually, I was just a lazy bone and so I thought of something and looked around my neighbourhood. At that time, Ginza Plaza (now, West Coast Plaza) was still under renovation. Beside it, ohh… there’s a church!! It’s very near to my house, huhh?? Only 5 mins walk! It’s in West Coast road between Ginza plaza and the Clementi Woods where I used to go for jogging. :D

On Sunday, I alone went down to that church. Oops.. in fact, the building name is “Clementi Bible Centre” inside got 2 churches: The Bible Church, Singapore and Mt. Carmel BP Church.. and moreover, there is a Clementi Wood Kindergarden. The kindergarden is in ground floor. The bible church’s sanctuary and it’s offices, classrooms are in 1^st floor, Mt. Carmel BP church’s ones are in 2^nd floor. Both churches have same worshipping times with two English services: 8.30 and 10.45am. Each also has other dialect worship services. On my very first Sunday at that building, I did attend both churches, u know? That’s why I had been to Mt. Carmel church, too. On that day, I even joined the young adult group’s retreat from Mt. Carmel church cos they welcomed me by name as I was very new to them. After that, I don’t know why I chose The Bible Church… may be cos of God’s will lorr..

As I was the only one Myanmar there, they recognized me and gradually, I came to know with all ministry staff, uncles and aunties from that church. Moreover, due to the Alpha Course, our relationtionship’s getting stronger and stronger. Most of my uncles and aunties are from Mt. Sinai Cell group. They are keen to do mission to our Myanmar people, so through me, we tried to outreach to Myanmars residing in s’pore. I brought my bros and siss to Alpha Course and from then on, we could build a small Myanmar group with Mt. Sinai Cell. We often gathered and had fellowship lunch and all that. It’s quite odd that all my bros and siss whom I brought to the church and Alpha Course were not of the same religion with me. :D But, I assure they might enjoy being with us.

Nevertheless, I was just schooling at that time. I still remember and do thank to one of my aunties for taking care of me during my exam. She even cooked a wonderful unforgettable dish for me. Other aunties also looked after me like their child. Uncles drove us to many places and let us try the s’pore atmosphere. Apart from Sentosa and Pula Ubin where most Myanmar go, I have been to all over s’pore already and could taste fantastic local and western foods which I even didn't dream about... cos of them. ^.^Ultimately, in the midst of the blues, heavy heart and hard knocks, my aunties and uncles were ready to pray for me, mentor me and soothe me. I just can’t imagine of God’s greatness on me and at the same time, I could go through what the Bible says: “We are one in Christ.” Then, I would like to add one thing that sometimes, water can be thicker than blood. So far, by God’s grace, I haven’t crossed the path with any prejudice.
